Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 3 tablespoons water
- 125 g oat flakes, possibly luten-free
- 2 tablespoon almonds, ground
- 125 ml coconut milk, alternatively other vegetable milk then a little less
- 100 g pizza melt (from Wilmersburer)
- 20 chicory leaves are around 2 large ones
- 2 pointed peppers, red
- 40 teaspoons vegetable cream (vegetable cream cuisine), e.g. oat cream or almond cream
- some salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika powder, smoked, noble sweet

- First soak the chia seeds in a bowl with the water for 5 minutes and stir. This results in a relatively firm gel.
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C fan oven.
- Then add the oat flakes, almonds, milk and the vegan cheese as well as the spices, mix well, preferably by hand, and season to taste. It should taste good and spicy. You can also add herbs if you want. Put aside.
- In the meantime, carefully loosen and wash the chicory leaves. Cut the peppers into strips. Place 2 chicory leaves inside each other in a baking dish and distribute the paprika strips between the boats. The boats should be close together so that they do not fall over later. Pour some salt over it and drizzle 2 teaspoons of vegetable cuisine, I had oat cream, over each boat. Now mix the soaked, set aside mass again and crumble 1 tablespoon each into the boats with your fingers.
- Bake in the middle of the oven for about 15-20 minutes. The crumble should be crispy, test it briefly with your fingers. You calculate about 3 - 4 boats per person.
- The dish can also be made vegetarian. Use 1 egg instead of chia seeds and water, cow`s milk instead of vegetable milk, Gouda instead of Wilmersburger pizza melt and cream instead of vegetable cuisine.
