Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 250 g suar, brown
  • 250 g butter
  • 2 tablespoon Nutella
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 3 packs pudding powder, chocolate, for cooking
  • 1 liter milk
  • 1 tablespoon rum, or /2 bottle flavor (not a must)
  • 9 tablespoon sugar
  • 250 g butter

To decorate: chocolate shavings, sprinkles, pearls, etc.

    Instructions

    1. For the dough:
    2. Mix the flour, sugar, butter, Nutella, eggs and baking powder to a smooth dough, spread on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake at 170-175 degrees top and bottom heat for about 15 minutes (depending on the oven model).
    3. For the pudding mixture:
    4. Prepare the pudding as instructed, but only use 1 liter of milk. After boiling, add the butter and let it melt while stirring. Then let the chocolate butter mixture cool a little, stir every now and then so that no skin develops. The slightly cooled mass must still be spreadable, spread over the baked dough and let cool down.
    5. Decorate with chocolate shavings, sprinkles, pearls, etc.
    6. If the cake is not to be consumed on the same day, I recommend that you apply the decoration on the day of consumption, the pudding mixture can lose some condensation.
    7. Cake can be prepared the day in advance, as the base does not become soggy very quickly!
