Ingredients
- 380 g flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 180 g butter, soft not runny!
- 45 g veetable fat (Biskin), room temperature
- 180 g suar, white
- 180 g cane suar, brown (important for the consistency), finely round
- 1 packet vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon syrup, (caramel syrup)
- 2 large egg (s), (L)
- 2 tablespoon cocoa powder, unsweetened for the chocolate variant OR:
- 150 g chocolate, white, rouhly chopped, possibly, OR:
- 1 cup chocolate (drops) OR:
- 1 bag macadamia nuts, roughly chopped OR:
- 1 cup cranberries, raisins, or other not-too-wet fruit OR:
- 1 cup nuts, roughly chopped (walnuts, hazelnuts, cashews, almonds, pistachios, etc.) OR:
- 1 cup candy (s), soft cream toffees roughly diced OR:
- 1 cup chocolate, (Smarties)

- Preheat the oven to 175 ° C top / bottom heat.
- Mix the flour, salt and baking soda.
- In another bowl, beat the butter, vanilla flavor and sugar until frothy. Then fold in well egg by egg so that the yolk mixes homogeneously with the butter.
- Now knead in the flour mixture and only then work in the nuts, chocolate, etc.
- Now chill the dough for about 1/2 hour. Then cut off the walnut-sized (just like they are with the shell) with a tablespoon, roll into a ball, place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and flatten it a little. A maximum of 12 balls on a sheet, NO MORE, as they run wide!
- Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes. They are good when they are slightly (!) Brown on the edge and arched). The first charge usually takes 1 - 2 minutes longer. I don`t know why that is the case with me
- Place on a rack to cool. The cookies will collapse and then look like you are used to from franchises. Please do not place the baking sheet on a grid until after approx. 6 minutes, as the sugar must first become stable again, otherwise the biscuits will fall apart.
- You will find, if you follow the instructions, that you will get really nice soft cookies that, in my opinion, taste completely identical in taste and bite. My son even says that they are even better, like Subway`s.
