Ingredients
- 4 egg yolks
- 100 g powdered suar
- 120 g flour
- 100 g butter
- 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 4 egg whites
- 200 g suar
- 100 g almond (s) (almond flakes)
- 400 ml whipped cream
- fruits, sour, depending on taste (e.g. raspberries, mandarins)
- Grease for the tin
- Flour for the baking sheet

- Preheat the oven to 160 ° C top / bottom heat.
- For a batter, stir the butter, powdered sugar and vanilla sugar until very frothy, gradually add the egg yolks. Mix the flour and baking powder and fold into the butter and egg yolk mixture.
- For the meringue, beat the egg white and sugar until stiff.
- Spread the batter evenly on a greased and floured baking sheet (the batter is very tough and difficult to distribute!), And spread the meringue on top. Sprinkle with flaked almonds.
- Bake on the middle rack for approx. 35 minutes until golden. Let cool down after baking.
- Then cut the cake in half. Cut one half into pieces, cover the other half tightly with the fruit, then brush with whipped cream. Now place the half that has already been cut into pieces on top and finish cutting through all the pieces.
