Ingredients
- 100 g flour
- 2 egg (s)
- 60 g butter, melted
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 1 pinch (s) salt
- 125 ml beer
- 12 elderflower umbels, fully bloomed
- Clarified butter
- powdered sugar

- Use the whisk to mix the ingredients for the beer batter into a relatively thin dough, then let it rest for 1/2 hour and beat again with the whisk.
- Shake the flower umbels well, but do not wash. If you want to wash them off: rinse them off briefly, but in good time so that they can dry completely again. Then grasp the cones on the stem, dip them upside down in the batter and immediately bake them in a pan with hot clarified butter until golden yellow.
- Dust with icing sugar and serve immediately while still warm.
