Fried Escariole Salad

Escariole salad (aka endive) is prepared very simply and quickly.

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • Escariole salad (endive) – 500 g
  • Olive oil – 2 tablespoon.
  • Garlic – 3 cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges – for decoration

Directions

  1. Chop the endive salad (excariol). Chop the garlic. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add garlic, fry until golden brown for about 3 minutes.
  3. Add the endive, salt, and pepper. Fry, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes.
  4. Serve fried escariole (endive) salad with lemon wedges.
