Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (top / bottom heat). Cut the dumplings into strips (so that they are about the size of your little finger) and place in a baking dish.
  2. Preheat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Peel, quarter and slice the onions and dice the chorizo. Important: If the chorizo is very soft, only cut with a sharp knife (!), Do not press too hard, otherwise it will disintegrate into its components.
  3. Put the sausage and onions in the pan and fry them. The addition of oil or fat is not necessary, the sausage brings enough. When the onions and chorizo are fragrant and lightly browned, add the tomato paste and let sizzle for about a minute (this eliminates some of the acidity and gives additional roasted aromas).
  4. Then add the mascarpone and tomatoes. Mix everything well and season with the spices. Spread the finished sauce over the dumplings cut into strips and sprinkle with the cheese.
  5. Then bake everything for 20 - 30 minutes (depending on which cheese you have used, keep an eye on) at 180 ° C on the middle rack.
