Ingredients

  • 1 kg potato (s), predominantly waxy or floury
  • 500 g ribbon noodles
  • 20 medium onion (s)
  • a lot paprika powder
  • lots sunflower oil, or lard
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the potatoes and cook in salted water until tender. Cook the tagliatelle in salted water until al dente.
  2. Halve the peeled onions and cut into slices. Then fry in a large pan with plenty of sunflower oil or lard and season well. When the onions are crispy, they are mixed in a saucepan with the strained potatoes and tagliatelle. It has to be mixed well so that the flavor of the onions is transferred to the potatoes and pasta. Put the lid on the pot and let it stand for another 15 minutes. The dish is then ready to be eaten.
