Ingredients
- 375 ml broth
- 500 ml buttermilk
- 1 large onion (s)
- 2 bay leaves
- 8 grains allspice
- 1 tablespoon flour, (heaped)
- 100 ml cream
- salt
- Pepper, a.d.M.
- 400 g potato (s), boiled, approx. (From the day before or freshly boiled)

- Bring the onion (quartered and cut into strips), allspice and bay leaves to the boil in the broth and then simmer for another 10-15 minutes (until the onions are really soft).
- In the meantime, mix the cream with the flour until smooth.
- Pour the buttermilk into the boiling broth, stirring constantly (before setting the heat setting back to maximum). Before the buttermilk begins to curdle, stir in the cream with flour.
- Season the soup with salt and pepper and immediately pour over boiled potatoes (whether diced or mashed) into the plates.
