- 2 tablespoon sunflower oil
- 50 g lentils, red
- 75 ml orange juice
- 500 ml broth
- 1 clove garlic
- salt and pepper
- chilli flakes

- Peel the carrots, onions and garlic and roughly dice everything.
- Heat the oil in a saucepan and sauté the onions and garlic until translucent. Add the carrots and sauté briefly as well. Add the broth and season the soup with pepper and other ingredients if necessary. Depending on the taste, chilli flakes or salt, for example, are suitable.
- Then cook for about 15 minutes in a closed pot and then puree with a hand blender.
- Add the lentils and orange juice and simmer for another 20 minutes on a low level, until the lentils are soft.
