Meat Salad “My General”

Prepare a delicious meat salad for the general of your heart.

Ingredients

  • Meat – 200 g
  • Carrots (medium) – 2 pcs.
  • Beets (medium) – 2 pcs.
  • Egg – 3 pcs.
  • Hard cheese – 100 g
  • Garlic – 2 teeth
  • Walnuts – 50 g
  • Mayonnaise – 100-150 ml
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Vegetable oil – 50 ml

Directions

  1. All you need to make the My General meat salad.
  2. Pour eggs with cold water, salt so as not to burst, bring to a boil and cook for 7-8 minutes.
  3. For the salad, you still need to boil the carrots – pour boiling water over it and cook for 20-25 minutes, adding a pinch of salt and sugar to the water.
  4. Pour boiling water over the beets and cook over medium heat for 40-50 minutes, do not salt the water.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan.
  6. Cut the meat into cubes and fry until tender, adding salt, pepper and garlic at the end of frying. Pork – 25 minutes, beef – 35 minutes, chicken and turkey – 20 minutes.
  7. Cool the meat and put on a dish in the first layer.
  8. Brush the meat with mayonnaise.
  9. Grate the cheese. This is the second layer.
  10. The third layer is eggs, chopped on a coarse grater.
  11. On top of the eggs – grated carrots. This is the fourth layer. Brush with mayonnaise.
  12. Peel the beets, grate on a coarse grater, add a little salt and pepper. Lubricate with mayonnaise. This is the fifth layer.
  13. Lightly fry the walnuts in a dry frying pan for taste and aroma, transfer to a mortar and grind into not very fine crumbs.
  14. With the last layer, decorate the salad with nut crumbs, sprinkling the sides and surface.
  15. You can serve the “My General” salad to the table.
