Ingredients

  • 500 g minced meat
  • 1 egg (s)
  • salt and pepper
  • Seasoning (s), to taste
  • Rolls from the day before, soaked, or breadcrumbs
  • 6 slices cooked ham
  • 6 slices cheese, e.g., Gouda, thinly sliced
  • 250 ml cream
  • 1 small Bottle sauce, (gypsy sauce)
  • cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Mix the minced meat with the egg, salt, pepper and spices of your choice (what you like to use for minced meat) and the squeezed out roll. Place a slice of cheese on each slice of ham. Shape the minced meat into small rolls and place on one side of the ham slice and then roll up. If you want thinner minced meat rolls, either take more ham slices or place a minced meat roll at both ends of the slice and then roll from both sides to the center (I usually do that).
  2. Grease a baking dish, cover the base with a little cream and insert the rolls. Mix the remaining cream with the gypsy sauce and pour over the rolls. Sprinkle with grated cheese thickly or thinly (as you like). Bake at 180-200 degrees for about 40 minutes.
