Instructions

  1. Peel the onions and cut into fine cubes. Peel the apple, remove the core and also cut into cubes.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan, fry the onions and as soon as they become translucent, add the apple cubes. Season with pepper, salt and herbs and continue to fry, stirring occasionally, until the apple pieces are soft.
  3. Meanwhile, peel the orange. Remove as much as possible of the white fibers, they taste bitter in the salad. Halve the peeled orange and cut into mouth-sized cubes. If the orange is still sour, you can now sweeten it with sugar, but you don`t have to.
  4. Add the onion and apple mixture to the oranges, mix well and serve lukewarm to cold.
  5. The number of calories per person is calculated from 340 kcal for the entire salad, assuming that the onion is counted with 150 g, the apple with 200 g and the oranges with 400 g.
