Ingredients

  • 150 g date (s), pitted
  • 300 ml orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon orange peel, untreated, grated
  • 1 pinch cinnamon powder
  • 100 g double cream cheese
  • 300 g yourt (1.5% fat)
  • 2 teaspoons pistachios, freshly chopped

Instructions

  1. Dice the dates, bring them to the boil with the orange peel, cinnamon and orange juice in a small saucepan and simmer for 1 minute over a mild heat. Then puree everything finely with the cutting stick and let cool down completely.
  2. Stir the cream cheese until creamy and gradually stir in the yogurt. Layer a layer of yoghurt cream in 4 glasses, top with the date compote and top with a layer of yoghurt cream. Sprinkle with pistachios.
  3. No sugar is added as the date compote is very sweet.
