Pear Salad with Feta Cheese and Croutons

Thin slices of juicy pears, an assortment of different types of salad, and salty feta are successfully combined with crispy baguette croutons and fragrant parsley, dill, and basil! The original dressing perfectly complements and sets off all the ingredients!

Ingredients

  • Pears – 270 g
  • Feta cheese – 200 g
  • Baguette – 120 g
  • Salad mix – 130 g
  • Fresh dill – 1 sprig
  • Fresh parsley – a few twigs
  • Fresh green basil – several branches
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – on the tip of a knife
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tablespoon.
  • Soy sauce – 1 teaspoon
  • Balsamic vinegar – 1 teaspoon

Directions

  1. Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
    Prepare a dressing by combining vegetable oil, balsamic vinegar, and soy sauce. Stir.
  2. Cut the baguette into small pieces, drizzle with vegetable oil, and brown in a preheated oven for about 5 minutes. Cool it down.
  3. Cut the feta into approximately 1×1 cm cubes.
    Place the salad mixture in a large bowl (if you have whole leaves, tear with your hands). Add chopped feta.
  4. Wash the dill, parsley, and green basil leaves, shake and chop finely. Add chopped herbs to a salad.
  5. Add prepared baguette croutons to the salad. Season with salt, pepper, and pour over the prepared dressing. Stir.
  6. Wash the pears and cut them into thin slices. Place pears on a flat plate, leaving a few slices.
  7. Place the prepared salad on top of the pears and top with the remaining pear slices.
    Salad with pear, feta cheese, and croutons should preferably be served immediately after cooking.
