Ingredients

  • 400 g beef fillet (s) or T-bone steak (oriinal)
  • 100 g mushrooms, fresh or canned
  • 100 g bell pepper (s), red and reen
  • 200 g mozzarella or American Cheese (oriinal) or Cheez Whiz (oriinal)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 4 g pepper, reener, fresh
  • 0.5 ½ onion (s), white or / and red
  • 4 m. Baguette (s), fresh
  • some olive oil

Instructions

  1. Put the meat in the freezer and let it freeze. Then cut very thinly. Finely chop the onion and thinly slice the mushrooms. Cut the peppers into small, elongated strips. Grate the cheese or cut it into thin slices. Coarsely crush the pepper.
  2. Fry the beef in the olive oil and gradually add the other ingredients (except for the cheese!). Halve the baguettes lengthways. Distribute the seared meat with the onions, mushrooms, paprika and pepper evenly on the lower halves of the baguette while they are still hot. Then immediately distribute the cheese evenly on top so that it still melts. Close the baguettes and serve.
  3. You can add ketchup, mayonnaise and / or other sauces to the baguettes yourself - depending on your taste. Fresh fries go well with these quick-to-make sandwiches. If you bake the baguettes again beforehand, it will be even tastier.
