Pilaf with Minced Meat

Of course, this recipe cannot be considered “classic”, but this does not make pilaf with minced meat less tasty. The main thing is to cook it correctly! Read the minced meat pilaf recipe with step by step photos!

Ingredients

  • Minced meat – 500 grams (preferably pork and beef)
  • Rice – 1.5 Cups
  • Carrots – 1-2 Pieces
  • Onions – 1-2 Pieces
  • Garlic – 1 Piece
  • Vegetable oil – 1-2 Art. spoons
  • Salt – To taste
  • Spices – To taste

Directions

  1. Peel the vegetables. cut the onion into half rings, the carrots into strips. However, any slicing options are permissible, as long as it suits you :).
  2. Heat a skillet with vegetable oil and fry the onion over medium heat. When it becomes transparent, turn the heat up and add the carrots. sauté, stirring, until light ruddy.
  3. If the minced meat is frozen, chop it into small pieces. From fresh, form something like meatballs (you can add an egg so that it does not disintegrate). Place with vegetables.
  4. Fry, stirring gently, for a couple of minutes, then salt and add spices.
  5. Add rice, stick in a head of garlic.
  6. Pour water (preferably hot) so that the surface of the cereal is covered by 1-2 centimeters.
  7. Simmer under a closed lid until rice is cooked.
  8. Stir before serving.
