Instructions

Preparation cake:
Mix sugar with egg yolks + margarine until foamy. Mix poppy seeds, 1 pinch of salt, mondamine + baking powder + add, stir well, add rum if necessary.
Mix in the egg white, beaten until stiff with a pinch of salt.
Pour into the parchment-lined springform pan and smooth out. Bake in the cold oven at 160 ° C for 30 minutes. Loosen the springform pan + after approx. 30 min without a tray, pull it onto a wire rack + let cool down. Remove the parchment paper.
Serve with whipped cream with vanilla sugar, whoever is allowed.
Preparation of the cast:
Bring red grape juice with sugar, bourbon vanilla sugar + pinch of salt to the boil, add the Mondamin dissolved in rum, stirring briefly + immediately put the pot off the heat, it starts to simmer, risk of injury! Keep stirring, should be firm, but not stiff.
In between cut the cooled poppy seed cake diagonally, fold it apart, coat the lower half with the now slightly cooled cream, if something overflows on the edge, not tragic, put the lid back on, spread the rest of the cream + the edge all around too. Sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles on top, if milk is allowed. Good succeed.
The preparation time varies depending on whether only cake, then about 20 minutes, with topping about 40 minutes.Without the cooling time of the cake, which took about 2 hours for me.
