Ingredients

  • 3 point dumplings (bread dumplings)
  • water
  • salt
  • 100 g cheese (Gouda)
  • 100 g bacon
  • 2 cups cream
  • 3 egg (s)
  • pepper
  • Nutmeg, grated
  • 0.5 ½ bunch chives
  • 2 tablespoon onion (s) (fried onions)
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dumplings, rinse in cold water. Grate the cheese and dice the bacon. Mix the cream and eggs. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  2. Cut the cooled dumplings into slices and layer them in a greased baking dish. Pour the egg cream over it, sprinkle the cheese and bacon over it. Bake at approx. 200 ° C for approx. 40 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Sprinkle chives and fried onions on top before serving. A mixed salad and a cold glass of beer go well with it.
