Quick Bread Sandwich Pie

The ideal recipe for a company is a quick and easy sandwich pie made from hearty slices of bread, which is cooked in a pan or in a slow cooker. An original and attractive appearance, satisfying filling, and invariably tasty result.

Servings: 6
Ingredients
- Sausage – 300 g
- Hard cheese – 300 g
- Milk – 150 ml
- Eggs – 5 pcs.
- Tomatoes (small) – 6 pcs.
- White bread – 1 loaf
- Butter – 50 g
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper – to taste
- Greens (optional) – to taste
How to Make Bread Sandwich Pie:
Directions
- Cut the sausage into slices.
- Cut 1.5-2 cm from each slice of bread on one side.
- Grease the multicooker bowl with butter. We put in bread.
- Put the sausage between the slices of bread.
- Cut the tomatoes into slices.
- We spread tomatoes to sausage and bread.
- Grate the cheese.
- Mix eggs and milk in a separate container. Salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle the sandwich pie with half of the grated cheese.
- Fill with a mixture of eggs and milk. We send the sandwich cake to the slow cooker for 25 minutes, on the “Baking” mode.
- We take out the cake from the multicooker using the steamer bowl.
- Sprinkle the sandwich pie with the remaining cheese and herbs (optional).
