  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 24 cloves garlic
  • 4 tablespoon maple syrup, alternatively honey

Instructions

  1. Divide the chicken thighs (into thighs and lower legs). Wash the potatoes well and cut them in half.
  2. Salt, pepper and oil the chicken pieces, potato halves and unpeeled garlic cloves (this works best if you mix everything in a large bowl) and spread them out on the baking sheet or in a large casserole dish. Drizzle everything with maple syrup. Cook in the oven at 190 ° C for about 3/4 to 1 hour. Cooking time depends on the thickness of the potatoes and the chicken pieces. Check again and again after 40 minutes.
  3. Serve in the baking pan, squeezing the soft garlic cloves out of the shell and spreading them on the potato halves. Add the juice with the baguette.
  4. All quantities can be varied according to your mood.
