Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 4 egg (s)
  • 200 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 200 g mararine
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon rum or rum flavor
  • 250 g flour
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 125 ml red wine
  • 150 g chocolate flakes

For decoration:

  • Powdered sugar or chocolate icing

Instructions

  1. For a 30 cm loaf pan.
  2. Beat the eggs until frothy. Add sugar and vanilla sugar and continue to beat until frothy. Then add the margarine and continue to beat until smooth. Gradually add the remaining ingredients and pour the dough into a large loaf pan.
  3. Bake at 180 ° C top / bottom heat for 40 - 50 minutes. Use the chopstick sample to test whether the cake is properly baked through.
  4. If you like, sprinkle with powdered sugar or coat with chocolate icing.
  5. The cake can be kept for a few days!
