  • 300 g prunes
  • 100 ml red wine
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram
  • 2 clove (s)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the pork, rub salt, marjoram and grated garlic. Chill for 2 hours.
  2. If necessary, scald and core the plums. Cut the meat in several places with a sharp knife and fill the openings with pitted plums.
  3. Heat the butter in a pan and fry the meat until light brown on all sides. Place the seared pork in a frying pan, add the roasting fat and 3 - 4 tablespoons of water and place in an oven preheated to medium heat (approx. 160 - 175 ° C) for 1.5 hours. Baste the meat with the sauce several times while it is roasting. When the meat is almost done, add the remaining plums and pour on the wine.
  4. Cut the fried pork into slices, arrange on a platter and garnish with plums. Serve hot or cold.
