Rolls “Mosaic”

Today I decided to cook unusual and very beautiful-looking “Mosaic” rolls. I really liked this recipe because the finished rolls with red fish and cucumber look very festive.

Ingredients

  • Rice for sushi – 250 g
  • Rice vinegar – 20 ml
  • Nori – 2 sheets
  • Cucumber – 1 pc.
  • Fish red
  • Flying fish roe – 30 g

Directions

  1. We prepare products for rolls with red fish, fresh cucumber and flying fish roe.
  2. We wash the rice well. Fill it with water and boil rice for sushi. First add rice vinegar to the finished rice.
  3. And then flying fish roe. We mix everything.
  4. Cut the red fish into long strips (there should be no bones in the fish).
  5. Put the rice with flying fish roe on the nori sheet. We level it with hands slightly moistened with water.
  6. Put a whole cucumber on top of the rice, having previously cut both edges from it.
  7. Roll up the nori sheet with rice and cucumber using a special rug.
  8. On a new sheet of norri, lay out two parts of the roll with cucumber as shown in the photo.
  9. Then we cut the resulting roll into two parts with a sharp knife – longitudinally.
  10. Cut the halves in half lengthwise again.
  11. On a new sheet of norri, lay out two parts of the roll with cucumber as shown in the photo.
  12. Raise the edges of the norri sheet slightly with the rug.
  13. Put pieces of red fish in the middle and lay out the remaining two parts of the roll with cucumber.
  14. Now we completely wrap the roll with red fish using a rug.
  15. Finally, very carefully cut the Mosaic rolls across.
