Ingredients

  • 300 g noodles (Japanese noodles your choice, e.. soba)
  • 300 g veetables your choice, e.., broccoli, zucchini, carrots, baby corn, pak choi, spinach
  • 2 spring onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • salt and pepper

For the fish:

  • 4 salmon fillet (s)
  • 2 tablespoon marinade, homemade your choice, e.g., based on soy sauce or lemon juice
  • Sesame, optional

Instructions

  1. Wash the salmon and dry it with paper towels.
  2. Heat a pan with unflavored oil over medium heat, add the garlic until the garlic has flavored the oil, then remove. Add the spring onions and vegetables that take longer and fry.
  3. Boil the pasta in hot water for a little shorter than indicated on the package.
  4. The Japanese use soba noodles, of course, but use whatever you like, just don`t use Italian pasta.
  5. Put 1 1/2 tablespoons of the pasta water in the pan, this prevents the vegetables from burning and allows them to cook a little faster. Then you put the noodles in the pan and the vegetables that don`t take long to cook, such as pak choi and spinach. Reduce the heat and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Heat some oil in another pan. Fry the salmon in it on both sides. It should still be slightly glassy in the middle.
  7. Drape the yakisoba on a plate and add the salmon to taste.
  8. Brush the salmon with the marinade and sprinkle with sesame seeds as desired.
