Scrambled Eggs in a Bagel

Delicious ham and eggs fried in a bagel are a perfect example of how a breakfast with a twist can be made with the simplest ingredients! Try it!

Ingredients
- Bagels with poppy seeds – 2 pcs. (200 g)
- Eggs – 2 pcs.
- Ham – 60 g
- Salt – 2 pinches (to taste)
- Ground black pepper – to taste
- Vegetable oil (for frying) – 15 ml
For the filling (optional):
- Green onion – 1-2 feathers
Directions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat, brush with vegetable oil, and layout the bagel.
- Reduce heat to low. Break the egg into the hole in the donut.
- Cut half the ham into small slices and place in the center of the donut, being careful not to damage the integrity of the yolk. Sprinkle the egg with a pinch of salt and black pepper. Fry the eggs for 2-3 minutes, until the protein sets.
- Cover the skillet with a lid and cook the eggs in a bagel for another 1-3 minutes, until the protein is fully cooked and the yolk is desired. Place the scrambled eggs in a bagel on a plate.
Repeat the process with the remaining half of the food. - Serve bright and unusual scrambled eggs in a bagel to the table. Sprinkle each serving with a pinch of chopped green onions or other fresh herbs if desired.
