  • 500 g turkey schnitzel
  • 2 teaspoons spice mixture, (Chinese spice)
  • 6 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil, (chilli oil)
  • 2 red pepper (s)
  • 0.5 ½ pineapple, fresh
  • 0.5 ½ bunch spring onion (s)
  • 1 tablespoon clarified butter
  • 400 ml broth
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • some flour
  • some water

Instructions

  1. Cut the turkey schnitzel into strips, mix well with the Chinese spice and soy sauce. Let the whole thing marinate in a plastic bag for a good 2 hours.
  2. Wash the peppers, clean and cut into strips, remove the stalk and skin from the pineapple and dice, also wash and clean the spring onions and cut into rings.
  3. Heat the oil in an iron pan and fry the meat with the marinade in portions for a maximum of 2 minutes. Remove the meat and set aside covered in a bowl.
  4. Melt the clarified butter in a non-stick pan, sweat the pepper strips, pour in the broth and stir in the tomato paste. Bring to the boil briefly and bind with a prepared flour dough made from flour and water.
  5. Now add the pineapple cubes, the leek rings and the meat strips. Mix everything in carefully.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, soy sauce and Chinese spices, if necessary.
  7. Turn off the plate and cover and let it sit for another 10 minutes with residual heat.
  8. Mie noodles or rice go well with it.
  9. Tip: Why fry the meat in an iron pan now? Very simple: the iron pan distributes the heat better than coated pans and the higher heat means that the meat can be roasted well in a shorter time without losing its juice. As a result, it remains more tender and juicy overall.
