- 2 pork chop (s)
- 500 g potato (s)
- 1 large apple (Braeburn)
- 0.5 ½ small chilli pepper (s) (habanero), red, seeds and side strands removed
- 1 cup cream
- 150 ml apple cider
- 2 onions)
- salt and pepper
- possibly vegetable broth

- Cook the potatoes in salted water.
- Meanwhile, wash the chops under cold water and pat dry with kitchen paper. Then season with salt and pepper on all sides. Heat the oil in a pan and sear the chops on both sides, remove and place in a baking dish.
- Fry the diced onions in the frying fat. Add the diced apple and fry. Deglaze with apple cider and simmer for a few minutes. Then add the finely chopped habanero and the cream. Season to taste with salt and pepper, or with vegetable stock if you like. Pour the mixture over the chops and let it simmer in the oven at 160 degrees for about 45 minutes.
- Peel the potatoes and serve with the chops.
