Ingredients
- 400 g leek, only the lower white part
- 200 g breakfast bacon, thinly sliced
- 60 g mountain cheese
- 2 teaspoons butter
- 2 teaspoons flour
- 2 tablespoon, leveled paprika powder, noble sweet
- 120 ml water
- 160 ml cream
- a bit salt
- sugar
- Vegetable broth, instant
- Lemon juice

- Cut the leek, preferably a thick stick, into 6 pieces of equal length. Halve lengthways to the middle, wash, drain, season a little salt on the inside and wrap with the bacon slices.
- Briefly sweat the paprika powder in the butter. Add the flour, stir and fill up with the cream water. Season the sauce with a little powdered stock, sugar and a splash of lemon juice.
- Place the wrapped leek sticks in the sauce and simmer slowly for about 20-25 minutes. Stir gently from time to time so that the sticks do not stick to the bottom of the pot.
- Finally, cover the leeks with the cheese, put the lid on and wait until the cheese has melted. Place the finished sticks on the paprika sauce and serve with rice.
