Ingredients

  • 750 g strawberries
  • 4 tablespoon orange liqueur
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 100 g powdered suar
  • 1 orange (s), grated peel
  • 200 g sweet cream

Instructions

  1. Wash the strawberries, then remove the greens.
  2. Halve the fruit and drizzle with the orange liqueur. Cover and chill and let it steep.
  3. Beat the egg yolks with the powdered sugar and 1/4 of the grated orange peel over a mild heat until very frothy, let it cool down, stirring frequently.
  4. Whip the sweet cream very stiff, fold in the cold egg mixture and pour onto the strawberries, sprinkle with the remaining orange peel and serve.
