Ingredients

  • 400 g flour
  • 170 ml milk
  • 8 g yeast
  • 40 g lard
  • 7 grams salt
  • 14 sausages (the amount depends on the size the sausages)
  • some butter
  • some sesame

Instructions

  1. Put the flour in a bowl and make a well in the middle. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm milk and pour into the hollow, then stir with a little flour. Add the soft lard and salt and work everything into a smooth dough with your hands. Cover and let rest in a warm place for 2 hours.
  2. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface into a rectangle of 20 x 30 cm. Place the sheet of dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Leave an approx. 3 cm wide edge all around, cut the rest into approx. 3 cm wide strips.
  4. Now thread the sausages into the strips of dough alternately as you would when weaving. Brush the dough with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in the oven preheated to 180 ° C until the dough is golden brown, about 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve.
