Zephyr with Black Currant Jelly

A simple recipe for marshmallow and blackcurrant juice jelly. Such an appetizing and bright dessert can decorate any festive table.

Ingredients

  • Blackcurrant juice – 1 glass
  • Gelatin – 1.25 tbsp
  • Sugar to taste
  • Marshmallow – 2 pcs.

How to make blackcurrant jelly:

Directions

  1. Pour the gelatin into a small deep plate, pour two tablespoons of boiled chilled water. Leave it on for 5-7 minutes to swell. (Before using gelatin, it will not be superfluous to pay attention to the instructions on the package, it is often different from different manufacturers. In this case, you may need a little more or less gelatin than indicated in the recipe.)
  2. Add prepared gelatin to blackcurrant juice (try it and sweeten it to your liking, if necessary) and put it on fire. While constantly stirring, wait until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Do not bring to a boil. Remove the juice with the dissolved gelatin from the heat and pour into a wide container. When completely cooled, refrigerate for further solidification of blackcurrant juice jelly. You will need to wait approximately 3-4 hours.
  3. After this time, remove the frozen currant jelly and cut marshmallow-sized circles out of it. You can use a glass. Break the marshmallow into halves. Then cut each half in half as well. It remains to collect the dessert. Put jelly on the marshmallow circle, then marshmallow again.
