Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 250 g quark (curd cheese)
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 point puff pastry (cooling shelf)
  • 2 Table spoons milk
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • Icing sugar (powdered sugar) for sprinkling
  • 100 g suar
  • some water

Instructions

  1. Peel and core the apples and cut into small cubes. Simmer with a little water, the cinnamon stick and 50 g sugar on a low heat (only cook the pieces until soft). Then let the mixture cool down.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut in half crosswise. Then draw 4 strips from top to bottom to create 8 pieces of equal size.
  3. Now add the quark, the egg and the remaining sugar to the cold apples. Mix everything. Place the mixture on one of the pieces of dough and fold together. Press the edges together with a fork. Brush the pockets with a little milk and place on a prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven at 150 ° C fan oven until they rise nicely and are golden brown. Let cool and sprinkle with icing sugar just before serving.
  5. These bags are simply wonderful and made in no time - ideal for any brunch or breakfast party.
