Apple Donuts in German

These apple and cinnamon flavored golden donuts are a great start to the day!

Ingredients

  • Milk – 1.5 cups
  • Flour – 1.5 cups
  • Baking powder – 1 tbsp
  • Brown sugar – 3 tbsp
  • Salt – 1/8 teaspoon
  • Butter – 1 tbsp
  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil – for lubricating molds
  • Butter – for frying
    For filling:
  • Apple – 1 pc.
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp
  • Cinnamon – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Nutmeg – 1/8 teaspoon
  • Butter – 1 tbsp

Directions

  1. Lubricate the mini cupcake tins with vegetable oil. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Combine sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg in a small bowl.
  3. Wash the apple, peel it and cut it into cubes.
  4. Dip the sliced ​​apple in a mixture of sugar and spices. Melt the butter in a frying pan and simmer the apple over low heat until it becomes soft. After 5 minutes, remove the pan and heat.
  5. Mix dry ingredients: flour, sugar, and salt.
  6. Beat milk, egg, and vanilla separately.
  7. Pour liquid into the dry mixture and mix everything thoroughly again. Add apples and mix thoroughly.
  8. Pour the dough into molds and send the apple donuts to the oven for 30-35 minutes.
