Ingredients

Ingredients for the dough:

  • 300 grams flour
  • 200 g mararine or butter
  • 100 g suar
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar

Ingredients for the topping:

  • 6 apples
  • 350 g applesauce

Ingredients for the crumble:

  • 200 g mararine
  • 275 g flour
  • 125 g suar
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch (s) salt

Ingredients for the ice cream:

  • 150 g condensed milk, sweetened
  • 50 ml condensed milk
  • 250 ml cream
  • 1 vanilla pod, which the pulp or teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. For the dough, work the flour, fat, sugar, egg and vanilla sugar into a dough and spread it on a baking tray. I use a fruit cake tray, it`s a little smaller.
  2. Then peel the apples, cut into pieces and mix with the applesauce in a bowl. Put the mixture on the dough.
  3. For the crumble, melt the fat in the pan, remove from the heat, mix the remaining ingredients and add. Let this mixture cool down briefly and then crumble the dough over the apples with your hands.
  4. Bake the cake on the middle rack at 175 ° C hot air for about 45 minutes.
  5. Use a shape for the ice cream that is suitable for freezing and has a capacity of 1 liter or a little more. Place the mold in the freezer to pre-cool.
  6. Put the sweetened condensed milk and the condensed milk in a mixing bowl. Add the pulp of the vanilla pod and stir everything carefully.
  7. In another bowl, whip the cream really well until stiff. Stir 3 tablespoons of the whipped cream into the sweetened condensed milk mixture to loosen it up a little. Then fold in the rest of the whipped cream so that everything forms a homogeneous cream. Pour the ice cream mass into the pre-chilled form and freeze in the freezer for approx. 4 - 5 hours.
  8. Before serving, I recommend letting the ice thaw for about 15 minutes. Then you can portion it well.
