Asian-Style Marinated Zucchini

The appetizer to eat first is the delicious Asian-style marinated zucchini! Prepare and check for yourself! The recipe is simple but delicious!

Ingredients

  • Zucchini – 2-3 pieces
  • Bulb onions – 0.5 pcs.
  • Wine vinegar – 50 ml
  • Sesame seeds (fried) – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Cilantro (or dill) greens – 1 bunch
  • Soy sauce – 2 teaspoon
  • Sugar – 1 teaspoon
  • Chili pepper – 0.5 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil – 40 ml
  • Garlic – 2-3 cloves

Directions

  1. We prepare all products for Asian style marinated zucchini. Zucchini and greens wash well.
  2. I have young zucchini, so you don’t need to peel the skin. We cut them as thin as possible, in circles.
  3. Transfer to a bowl, salt and let stand for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Cut half the onion into half rings. Finely chop the garlic and greens.
  5. Let’s take care of the marinade. Combine sugar, soy sauce, wine vinegar and vegetable oil.
  6. Mix well and add onion, garlic and cilantro. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  7. The zucchini stood and separated the juice, we drain it.
  8. Add marinade to the zucchini, hot pepper to taste and fried sesame seeds (sesame seeds are lightly fried in a dry frying pan).
  9. Stir and put in the refrigerator for 1 hour. During this time, all the tastes and aromas will mix (“get married”) and the appetizer salad will be ready. You can cook in advance, such delicious zucchini is stored in the refrigerator for up to three days.
