Ingredients

  • 250 g semolina
  • 250 g bacon, diced
  • 500 ml broth, (boiling hot)
  • 160 g bread (s), dumplin bread (chopped diced rolls)
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 3 clove (s) garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • parsley

Instructions

  1. Put semolina in a bowl and pour hot broth over it and let it steep for about 5 minutes.
  2. Mix bacon cubes, dumpling bread, eggs, crushed garlic, parsley, flour, salt, pepper and stir in the semolina - leave to stand for about 15 minutes - then form dumplings, roll them in a little flour and soak in the boiling water and simmer for about 15 minutes to let.
  3. Any salad or sauerkraut and a sauce like e.g., Dill sauce (cream sauce, chive sauce or cheese sauce)
