  • 500g flour
  • 80 g suar
  • 80 g butter, soft
  • 250 ml buttermilk
  • 1 cube yeast
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 egg yolk

Instructions

  1. Work all ingredients except the egg yolk into a dough with your hands or the dough hook and cover and let rise in a draft-free place for at least 30 minutes. Knead the dough again and cut in half. Form three rolls from each half and use them to braid two braids.
  2. Place the braids on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Whisk the egg yolk and brush the braids with it. Then bake for 35 to 45 minutes.
