Chebureks with Cheese in the Oven

Let’s cook pasties in the oven, and even with cheese! The dough is incomparable, be sure to try it! Well, the cheese did not disappoint, it is delicious and lasts!

Ingredients

For the dough:

  • Flour – 250 g
  • Milk – 125 ml
  • Butter (room temperature) – 3 tbsp
  • Dry yeast – 1 teaspoon
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 1/2 teaspoon

For filling:

  • Cheese – 150-200 g
  • Fresh dill (optional) – to taste

For greasing pasties:

  • Yolk – 1 pc.

To prepare the baking sheet:

  • Butter
  • Flour

Directions

  1. We activate the yeast. To do this, make a hole in the flour, add milk, yeast and sugar there.
  2. Stir lightly and let stand for a few minutes.
  3. Then add a pinch of salt and soft butter.
  4. Knead the dough for a few minutes. The dough should be soft (focus on your flour).
  5. We put the dough into a cup, cover with a foil and let the dough rise in a warm place (40 minutes).
  6. Lightly knead the finished dough and divide into three equal parts, form koloboks.
  7. Preparing the filling. Grate the cheese. In one of the pasties I will add finely chopped dill along with the cheese – I want to get a cheese-dill taste.
  8. Roll each dough bun into a round cake 2-3 mm thick.
  9. Put a third of the cheese on half the cake.
  10. Cover the filling with the second half of the dough, slightly pinch the edges.
  11. We go along the edges with a fork so that the cheese filling does not “run out”.
  12. On a baking sheet, greased with butter and sprinkled with flour, let the pasties from the yeast dough stand for about 10 minutes.
    During this time, preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  13. Lubricate the pasties with cheese on top with yolk.
    We bake pasties in the oven for 15-20 minutes (focus on your oven).
  14. Let the finished pasties with cheese cool slightly.
