Ingredients

  • 300 grams flour
  • 15 g yeast
  • 300 g cheese, several types (Räßkäse, Rheintaler, Emmentaler)
  • 2 large onions
  • 2 egg (s)
  • some Milk
  • some salt and pepper
  • some water

Instructions

  1. Knead a bread dough from flour, yeast, salt and water. Cover up and let something go.
  2. In the meantime, finely chop the onion and slice the cheese finely. Add eggs, seasoning and a little milk. Mix everything together well. Roll out the dough about 1 cm thin, cover a baking tray with it and press up on the edge.
  3. Brush with the filling and bake until golden brown on increasing heat. Serve hot.
  4. You can also drink a good cider or coffee.
