  • 50 g powdered suar, sifted
  • 100 g butter, cold, in pieces
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 apples, sour
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon sugar, brown

Instructions

  1. Work the flour with the powdered sugar, egg yolk, salt and pieces of butter into a smooth ball of dough. It is best to use your hands to firmly crush the butter with the ingredients. Chill for 1 hour.
  2. Roll out the dough thinly and place in a greased tart pan (approx. 20-24 cm in diameter). Carefully press into the edges of the mold and cut off the excess at the edge.
  3. Peel, quarter and core the apples and cut into 1 cm wide slices. Mix with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Cover the dough with the apple slices like a roof tile and sprinkle with the brown sugar.
  4. Bake the tart in the oven preheated to 200 ° C with top / bottom heat on the bottom rack for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
