  • Flour
  • 40 g clarified butter
  • 500 g onion (s)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 250 g sweet cream
  • 150 g Gouda cheese, rated

Instructions

  1. Season the schnitzel with salt and pepper and dust with flour. Heat the clarified butter, fry the schnitzel in it for 3 minutes on each side.
  2. Cut the onions into fine rings. Heat the oil, fry the onions in it until golden brown.
  3. Place the schnitzel in a baking dish, add the onions and pour the sweet cream over them. Put in a cool place and let it steep for at least 12 hours.
  4. Sprinkle cheese over the schnitzel and place in the cold oven. Set the oven to 200 ° C top / bottom heat and bake until the cheese is golden brown.
