Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 450 g flour
  • 1 ½ pack baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ tablespoon margarine, soft
  • 75 g yourt
  • 1 ½ tablespoon olive oil
  • 150 ml water, lukewarm
  • 0.5 ½ pack dry yeast
  • 40 ml milk
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ sugar

For the filling:

  • 500 g round beef
  • 3 tablespoon, heaped tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • garlic
  • parsley

For covering:

  • Feta cheese
  • olives
  • bell pepper (s)

Instructions

  1. Knead the dough ingredients into a smooth dough, it does not stick. Set aside and mix the ingredients for the filling together. This can withstand seasoning.
  2. Cut out 5 - 7 pieces of roughly the same size from the dough. Roll them out in an oblong oval shape, no thicker than ½ cm. Spread about 2 tablespoon of the filling on top. Fold up the long sides and twist the ends into each other.
  3. If you like, you can now put olives, onion rings and / or peppers, cut into strips or cubes, on top. Spinach or mozzarella would also work.
  4. Then put the boats on a baking sheet lined with baking paper at 200 ° C (top / bottom heat) for 15 - 20 minutes on the middle rail in the oven.
