Ingredients

  • 250 g meat (yros), ready-fried
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 250 g flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking soda
  • 2 pinches pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 60 ml oil
  • 200 g herb quark (tzatziki)
  • 120 ml buttermilk
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 ° C and grease the muffin tray well.
  2. Cut the gyros and onion into very small pieces.
  3. Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, pepper and salt in a bowl.
  4. In a second bowl, beat the egg, oil, tzatziki and buttermilk until frothy. Add flour mixture, gyros and onion and stir in.
  5. Pour the batter into the molds and bake for about 20-25 minutes.
  6. Tip: Better to bake these muffins without paper liners.
