  • 500 g Brussels sprouts
  • 125 g bacon, diced
  • 2 apples, not sour
  • 1 small onion (s)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash the Brussels sprouts, remove the outermost layer and cut off the stalk. Halve the Brussels sprouts.
  2. Fry the diced bacon and the finely chopped onion in a large pan until the onions are translucent and the bacon is almost crispy.
  3. Remove the onions and bacon from the pan and set aside. Fry the Brussels sprouts in the fat residue over medium heat. Add oil if necessary. Let fry for about 15 minutes with the pan covered. Turn the halved heads over and over again.
  4. Wash, core and dice the apples. Add the bacon, onions and apple pieces to the pan and fry for about 5 minutes with the lid closed. Season to taste with salt and pepper at the end.
