Instructions

  1. Grate the garlic and onions or put them through the blender or chop them very finely and mix with the other ingredients and, very importantly, let them steep overnight.
  2. Cook jacket potatoes the next day.
  3. Season the quark again to taste and possibly stir in a little more milk if it is too firm.
  4. Break open the hot potatoes, add flakes of butter or linseed oil and serve with the quark.
  5. A light, simple tuna salad or bismarck herring goes well with it. The dish also tastes very good without any other side dishes.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
