  • 500 g Kamut, round (old wheat variety)
  • 20 g yeast
  • 350 g buttermilk
  • 10 g salt
  • 10 g syrup (barley syrup)
  • 20 g butter

Instructions

  1. Mix the yeast with the lukewarm buttermilk, syrup and the salt and wait until it starts to go, about 10-30 minutes.
  2. Then process the flour and butter together and knead until a smooth dough is formed. Cover and let rise for about 40 minutes at room temperature and form about 10 rolls.
  3. Place this on a baking sheet and let rise, covered, for 30 minutes and then brush with lukewarm milk.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven at 200 ° C for 25 minutes.
  5. Spray some water on the rolls before, during and afterwards.
