Ingredients

For the sponge dough:

  • 5 egg (s), separated
  • 5 tablespoon water, hot
  • 200 g suar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 250 g flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • Grease for the tin

For the cream:

  • 1 ½ liter orange juice
  • 3 pts. Vanilla pudding powder
  • 10 tablespoon sugar

Also:

  • 3 cups cream
  • 1 point shortbread (s)
  • orange juice
  • 1 point couverture for the glaze

Instructions

  1. Make a sponge cake from eggs, water, sugar, salt, flour and baking powder. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake in the hot oven for approx. 30 minutes at 180 ° C.
  2. For the cream of 1 liter of orange juice, sugar and the pudding powder, cook a pudding and let it cool down. Spread on the cold cake base.
  3. Whip the cream until stiff and pour on top. Then dip the shortbread biscuits one by one in the orange juice (approx. 8 seconds) and place on the cake. Finally, melt the couverture and cover the cake with it.
  4. The cake tastes only really pulled through, so you can prepare it 1 day in advance.
