Meat Baskets with Mushrooms, Under Hot Cheese

In baked minced meat baskets – fried onions and whole mushrooms under melted cheese, and on top – tomatoes with garlic. This juicy, aromatic meat dish will become your signature dish, be sure to cook it! πŸ™‚

Ingredients

  • Beef – 0.5 kg
  • Pork – 0.5 kg
  • Champignon mushrooms (preferably small) – 1 kg
  • Bulb onions – 5-6 pcs.
  • Tomatoes – 2-3 pcs.
  • Cheese – 200 g
  • Garlic – 3-4 cloves
  • Pepper
  • Ground paprika
  • Coriander (grain or ground)
  • Salt

Directions

  1. Cut the meat into small pieces and pass through a meat grinder. Grind three onions in the same way.
  2. Pepper, salt and add paprika or hot pepper. Mix and beat the minced meat well.
  3. Cut the remaining onion into large cubes so that it is juicy after frying.
  4. Pour vegetable oil into two pans and wait until it warms up. We send mushrooms to one pan, and onions to another.
  5. Salt the chopped onion and fry until golden brown.
  6. We fry whole small mushrooms until the liquid evaporates and the mushrooms begin to turn golden. (If you have not found small mushrooms, then take large ones and cut them.) Add coriander to the mushrooms and salt.
  7. Chop the tomatoes as finely as possible.
  8. Salt and add garlic squeezed through a press to the tomatoes.
  9. Chop any greens and add to tomatoes. Drizzle with olive oil.
  10. Rub the cheese on a fine grater.
  11. We take a small ladle (I have it from a multicooker). We collect a full ladle of minced meat. We form a ball and spread on a baking sheet with parchment. In the center we make a small indentation with our hands or a pestle. We make the walls a little thinner so that more filling fits. I got 13 baskets.
  12. We send the onion to the bottom and tamp it with a spoon.
  13. Put the mushrooms on top. We send minced meat baskets with onions and mushrooms to an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
  14. After 15 minutes, take it out of the oven and sprinkle with cheese, lightly press the top. Place in the oven for another 5-6 minutes.
  15. Put a little more cheese and tomatoes with garlic and herbs on the melted cheese.
  16. Meat baskets with mushrooms are ready. We serve hot.
