Ingredients

  • 1 bread, round, approx. 500 g
  • Butter or tartar sauce
  • 150 g tomato (s), sliced
  • 150 g onion (s), sliced
  • 150 g pickled cucumber (s), sliced
  • 150 g cheese (sliced cheese)
  • 1 ½ kg minced meat
  • 6 slices salami
  • 1 radish
  • chives
  • cress
  • parsley

Instructions

  1. Slice the bread crossways on a large slicer or carefully with a sharp bread knife. Leave out the top slice and eat it as a sandwich.
  2. Brush the other slices with butter or tartar sauce and top each with tomato, onion, cucumber and cheese. Save a few onion rings for decoration.
  3. Put the bread together and press the meat in portions all around. Decorate the Metttorte with salami, onion rings, radishes and herbs as desired.
